The Joint Petition for Approval of Minor Settlement which is attached to this Summons is important and you must take immediate action to protect your rights. You are required to mail or hand deliver a copy of a written response to the Petition
to Robert Ogletree, the attorney for the Plaintiffs/Petitioners, whose post office address is P.0. Box 1955, Brandon, MS 39042, and whose street address is 1640 Lelia Drive, Ste. 105, Jackson, MS 39216. Your response must be mailed or delivered within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery of this Summons and Petition, or a judgment by default will be entered against you for the relief sought on behalf of your minor child, A.R. You must also file the original of your Response with the Clerk of this Court within a reasonable time afterward. Note that this matter has been scheduled for a Hearing by the Court on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Lauderdale County Chancery Courthouse, located at 612 South 22nd Avenue, South, 2nd Floor, before Judge Austin Terry. You should plan to attend or otherwise participate to express your position, if you desire to do so. A copy of the Notice of Hearing is also attached to this Summons.
