Respondents in a suit filed in the Chancery Court of
Lauderdale
County, Mississippi, by Jamela Janae Carthan petitioning for letter of administration and a
determination and adjudication of the statutory heirs at law and wrongful death
beneficiaries of
Edward Diondre Boyd,
Deceased. You are
summoned to appear before the Honorable Austin
Terry, Chancellor of the Chancery Court of Lauderdale County, State of Mississippi, on
Tuesday, the 1 st day of April, 2025, at the Chancery Courthouse thereof located at 612 22nd
Avenue South, Meridian,
Mississippi 39301, in your capacity as an Heir at Law of Edward
Diondre Boyd, Deceased, for a hearing in connection with the issuance of letters of
administration and a determination and adjudication of the statutory heirs at law and wrongful
death beneficiaries of Edward Diondre Boyd, Deceased. Said hearing will commence at 1:15
p.m., or as soon thereafter as counsel may be heard. In case of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment will be entered against you for money or other things demanded in the Petition.
You are not required to file an Answer or other pleading, but you may do so if you desire.
